While TEC respects local heritage by incorporating green lungs that honor the existing Orang Asli settlements, the project also prioritizes active transportation, with pedestrian-friendly streetscape replete with interactive lighting and green canopies. Dedicated cycle lanes, benches and shaded walkways enhance comfort and safety. Additional public facilities such as street furniture, playgrounds and markets promote outdoor activities and community engagement. Taking cues from rigorously designed masterplans of famous cities around the world, commercial zones in TEC face main arterial roads to stimulate economic activity.
