VERITAS Consulting Quantity Surveying team assisted the client in the preparation of the preliminary construction cost estimates during the feasibility, concept, and schematic design stages. These estimates provide an early-order cost indication based on limited design information, benchmark data, and elemental cost analysis. It is primarily used to assess the financial viability of the proposed development, support funding applications or financing arrangements, and establish an initial project budget. These estimates also enable comparison of alternative design schemes, construction methods, and specifications to achieve cost-effective solutions. In addition, it serves as a cost control benchmark to guide the design team during subsequent design development, ensuring that the evolving design remains aligned with the approved budget and the client’s financial objectives.
