Azril Amir Jaafar is a Principal & Director of VERITAS Design Group who, in addition to the extensive work within Malaysia, has led VERITAS’s ventures into the Middle East market. These ventures produced successful completion of several projects, including the award-winning Bareeq Tower.
With over 20 years of experience in design, Azril holds a special interest and emphasis on environmentally sustainable design solutions. As a trained airport terminal designer, Azril has also been involved in airport terminal design competitions and proposals.
In addition to being a Corporate Member of the Malaysian Institute of Architects, Azril is also a Green Building Index Facilitator, Green RE Technical Advisory Panel, CIDB Construction Industry Standard reviewer, JKR Technical Working Group member and IATA certified Airport Terminal Planner & Designer. He graduated from the University of Manchester, UK.
