RESPONSIBILITIES
  1. Follow the company’s policies, procedures, design standards, and quality management requirements.
  2. Develop interior design concepts that meet the client’s brief, project objectives, budget, programme, and brand requirements.
  3. Prepare space planning, design development, material selection, colour schemes, furniture layouts, reflected ceiling plans, and detailed interior drawings.
  4. Prepare presentation materials, mood boards, material boards, rendered perspectives, and other design communication documents.
  5. Coordinate interior design requirements with the client, architect, engineers, specialist consultants, contractors, suppliers, and relevant authorities.
  6. Ensure that interior layouts comply with applicable building regulations, fire safety requirements, accessibility standards, and authority requirements.
  7. Prepare and manage the interior design work programme and ensure deliverables are completed within the agreed schedule.
  8. Prepare specifications, schedules, bills of quantities, tender drawings, and other tender documentation related to interior works.
  9. Assist in the tender process, including responding to tender queries, evaluating submissions, reviewing samples, and recommending contractors, suppliers, and specialist vendors.
  10. Review contractor shop drawings, material submissions, mock-ups, samples, method statements, and technical proposals.
  11. Attend client, consultant, coordination, tender, and site meetings.
  12. Conduct site inspections to monitor workmanship, material quality, design compliance, progress, and coordination of interior works.
  13. Identify design discrepancies, site constraints, and coordination issues, and propose appropriate solutions.
  14. Assist in managing design changes, variation orders, requests for information, and other contract-related matters.
  15. Inspect completed interior works, prepare defect lists, monitor rectification works, and verify completion.
  16. Ensure the submission of as-built drawings, material warranties, operation and maintenance manuals, and other handover documents.
  17. Maintain complete and accurate project records, drawings, samples, approvals, and correspondence.
  18. Perform any other duties assigned by the Management.
ACCOUNTABILITIES
  1. Issue and distribute approved interior design drawings, specifications, schedules, and related documents.
  2. Review and endorse shop drawings, material samples, mock-ups, and technical submissions within the authorized scope.
  3. Provide formal design comments and instructions on interior design matters.
  4. Verify that completed interior works comply with the approved design, specifications, quality standards, and client requirements.
  5. Maintain proper documentation of design decisions, approvals, revisions, and site instructions.
